Lindenhurst Area Soccer Club: About LASC
Lindenhurst Area Soccer Club (LASC) is one of the area's premier clubs for boys' and girls' select travel soccer team. Our teams are comprised of players from the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area. Our mission is to provide a quality soccer experience. We believe in the development of the individual player while promoting honor, integrity, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
In addition to participation in a competitive level of soccer, LASC offers soccer camps, professional trainers and certified coaching to enhance your soccer experience. Community involvement and the development of leadership skills are also important to the club and its members.
Coaching Staff
LASC utilizes a method of parent and volunteer coaches assisted by professional trainers. Our coaches are LASC certified and licensed by the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (www.iysa.org) for their respective age groups. Many of our coaches have played or are still playing competitive level soccer. Our coaching staff is dedicated and committed to player skill development and teaching team play.
Each team is staffed with:
Head Coach – Each team will have a head coach who is responsible for player and overall team development.
Assistant Coach – Each team may have one or two assistant coach(s) who assist and support the head coach.
Trainer – Each team will have a professional trainer who will provide players with technical and tactical skills training in coordination with the coaches.
Summer Camp & Skills Clinics
LASC offers a number of skill development and athletic training opportunities during the year including a summer camp just prior to the fall season. These programs are open to LASC players and are focused on developing soccer player athletic skills.
