we are the 2005 la lightning, a 12u travel baseball team that participates in usssa and super series tournaments around south louisiana and mississippi. the team has traveled to various cities to participate in would series tournaments. this year we plan to play in cooperstown, new york in the dreamspark weekly tournaments where up to 80 teams from around the country compete for the weekly championship

THE LIGHTNING FINISHED THE 2004 SEASON 2ND IN LOUISIANA USSSA
POINTS, 5TH IN POWER RANKING, AND 3RD IN THE COACHES POLL.
the lightning finished as runner-ups in the 11U USSSA AAA state tournament in 2004
THE LIGHTNING DUE TO PLACING 2ND IN THE 2004 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WAS MOVED UP TO USSSA MAJORS LEVEL WERE THEY FINISHED THE 2005 SEASON 1ST IN USSSA POINTS, 3RD IN POWER RANKING, AND 5TH IN THE COACHES POLL.
