Tomahawks Team 5 beat Kings 19-0
Just before the Hurricane winds ripped through the Tri-state, Tomahawks Team 5 shut out Kings in a big 19-0 division win. The Team 5 defense was OUTSTANDING holding the Kings offense to only 6 yards rushing, and forcing two fumbles: One recovered by Robby Maher and the other by Zack Kozerski. Nick Hamilton lead the defense with 4 tackles, Derrick Apking and Tyler Bridges had 3 tackles each, and Noah Williams, Josh Bryant, Jake Bouman and Tyler Harrington all had two. Other strong defensive players on the team were Zack Brauns, Jon Brinkman, Zach Dobroszi, Alex Jones, Jacob Peddicord, Dalton Wene, Simon Anderson, Tyler Sterling and Blake Scearce.
The Team 5 offense dominated the Kings team with a total of 234 yards rushing. Noah Williams had two great touchdowns and 13 carries for 143 yards. Corey Peters had one fabulous touchdown run and 7 carries for 79 yards. Zach Dobroszi rushed for 9 yards and Dalton Wene rushed for 4 yards. Other outstanding offensive players for the team were: Cole Maness, Zack Kozerski, Jake Bouman, Josh Bryant, Tyler Bridges, Nick Hamilton, Tyler Harrington, Evan Kuhlman, Alex Jones, Tyler Englert and Blake Scearce.
