We played the Tomahawks Invitational against the Reading Panthers and finished in a 8-8 tie. It was a well played game by both teams and a good end to the season. We thank the Reading Panthers for coming to the invitational, and wish them luck in their playoffs.

TEAM #12 finished the 2004 season as CYFL League Runners Up at the 8 year old level. The League Championship game in Mason was lost to Mason #3 0-12 in a hard fought game. Team #12 has had a great year going undefeated up to this game. The competition has made us strong and the players have learned and developed tremendously this year.

TEAM #12 Won the League Semifinal Game vs Loveland #2 6-0 on a water soaked, muddy field in Kings.
Team #12 heads into the CYFL Championship Game this Saturday vs Mason at Mason.

Tomahawks win 16-0 vs Mason 1
Strong defensive play by the Tomahawks provided a shut out opportunity, and solid offensive execution gave the team two touchdowns in the first half. CJ Hilliard score the first TD and Jarret Rindfleisch punched in the PAT. Rindfleisch later broke a long run to score the 2nd TD, and Chris Pickens rang up the extra 2 points. Strong blocking allowed the team to move the ball well.
Defensive stops were provided by a variety of Tomahawks, and pressure came from linemen Jarrett LaRubbio, TreVaughn Heath, Jordan Hudepohl, and Jacob Fisher. More later...

The Tomahawks defeated Mason #2 26-14 on September 25th, Loveland #3 20-6, and Indian Hill 24-14 in the first 3 games of the season.
We play Mason #1 at Lakota in a nondivision game this Saturday, Oct 2nd.

The Tomahawks Team 12 wrapped up the season with a 14-0 win vs Mason 3 in the Invitational played at Tomahawk Stadium.

Outstanding job at Field Day on the 26th!!!
Parents really pitched in and worked as a team to accomplish what needed to be done.

Team # 12 players completed a busy week of practice. The boys are learning a lot and working hard as they prepare for the preseason.

The roster will be posted in the near future, and we will take photos of the players for the site.
Next set of practices will be held Monday, Aug 11th, Wednesday, Aug 13th, and Thursday, August 14th. Practice Time 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hopewell Jr. School.

If you haven't participated like this before, you're not alone! Most of the families are new to these activities, and it just takes a desire to help, paticipate, and contribute. There are people who will help guide you through the assignments and activities and others who will be working with you from the Cheer Squad.
