DeMaio To Play For Tiffin

Taylor DeMaio has been busy on the hardwood lately getting ready for the Firebirds Basketball team home opener next week.
It is Lacrosse that will take her to Tiffin University as the senior signed at Lakota West on Monday.
"When I went on the visit, Tiffin University fit me the best," DeMaio said. "Both academically and for lacrosse. I'm looking forward to playing on a team with girls from all over the country."
Tiffin welcomes women's lacrosse as the University's 10th women's athletics program in 2010. They will compete as an Independent program.
DeMaio is looking forward to play for first year coach Mark Schreiber. "My coach is going to teach us not only how to play lacrosse, but life skills," DeMaio said.
She also feels that competing at Lakota West has prepared her for what lies ahead.
"Lakota West athletics taught me my work ethic and what it takes to be an athlete," DeMaio added. "I have had the privilege to play for both the West lacrosse and basketball programs."
