Tough Regional Finishes
Lake U17 Blue battled through some injuries to finish 7th in the U17 division at the PSRVB Regional Championships at the end of April. The team faced off two weeks later with the 11 top U17 teams in the region at the PSRVB invitational bid tournament May 5th, but was unable to earn a bid to the 2013 Junior National Championships. The team will take a well deserved rest before beginning their end of season push as they get ready to compete in the Open divisions at both the Emerald City Classic in Seattle and the AAU Championships in Orlando, Florida. Lake U17 Blue Battle to the Power League Finish
Despite several player injuries and only 7 players available to start the day, Lake U17 Blue improved their final position in the U18 Puget Sound Power League standings. Lake U17 finished 11th in Flight #1 of the final 2013 Power League tournament and finished as the 6th ranked U17 team in the region! Next up...U17 Regionals! GO LAKE!!

Top 10 Finish at PNQ!
Lake U17 came out strong on Day 1 of the Pacific Northwest Qualifier in Spokane, WA putting themselves in the upper bracket of U17 volleyball teams from Washington, Idaho, Texas and California. After some hard-fought games on Day 2 and 3, Lake U17 Blue finished the tournament with 2nd place in the Silver bracket, 8th overall in the USA division and as one of the top 2 teams from the Puget Sound Region! Good work this weekend ladies and keep pushing toward your goals. LAKE U KNOW!

LAKE U17 BLUE EARNS A SPOT IN FLIGHT #1!
The ladies of Lake U17 Blue put up a tough fight as they battled it out in Power League bracket play against some tough 18s teams. At the end of the day, Lake placed 2nd out the 8 teams and earned their spot in Flight #1 at the last Power League competition in April. LAKE U KNOW!
Continuing to Battle in Flight #2
Lake U17 Blue played some good volleyball in the February Power League. Our U17 Athletes will continue to battle in Flight #2 to achieve their TEAM goals at the next Power League on March 2nd. LAKE U KNOW!!

Power League - Moving up to Flight #2!
U17 Blue battled on the court to finish 2nd in Flight #3 at Power League on January 27th. The team will move up to Flight #2 at the next Power League on February 10th. LAKE U KNOW!

2nd Place Finish at U18 MLK Tournament!
Congratulations U17 Blue on winning 2nd place! All 12 athletes on our team played some great volleyball this weekend and together we battled our way into the championship match of the NW Jrs MLK Tournament this weekend. For the second time during the weekend we played NW Jrs 18 Elite. NW Jrs took the championship this time, but Lake U17 Blue played tough all weekend and proved we are ready to compete with the top U18 teams in the region next weekend at Power League. - LAKE, YOU KNOW!

Power League Seeding Results
Lake U17 Blue came out strong in the first weekend of U18 Power League. Our team maintained a spot in the top 20 teams, finishing 17th out of 60 - U18 teams. Great work ladies! We will be starting out at the top of Flight #3 at the January 27th tournament.
