Meet your 2015 Lake VBC Coaches!!!

Greg Post: U14-1 Head Coach
USAV CAP I Certified (2014), IMPACT Certified (1999), GMS (2011, 2013)?Regional High Performance Coach (2013)

This will be Greg’s 5th season coaching at Lake VBC.  He served last year as the U16-1 co-coach where he helped coach this team to a first place finish in Flight 1 at USAV Nationals in Minneapolis - a continuation of the team's previous success with the club's first ever bid to the National Championships in Dallas where Greg served as the U15-1 assistant coach.  He is a great competitor and has a perfectionist pursuit of excellence. Greg began playing VB in 1992 and instantly fell in love with the sport.  His coaching experience started in 1999 with his first head coaching position at Nathan Hale High School as the Freshman Coach.  This was followed by eight successful years as the JV coach. Later, Greg was hired onto the Archbishop Murphy High School coaching staff where he coached from 2008-2011. He is currently the assistant varsity coach at Kamiak HS.   Greg is an enthusiastic coach who loves every aspect of the game and the process of learning. His goal is to pass on his love and passion for “the greatest game on earth,” in his words, to our young athletes.

Allan McDonald: U14-2 Assistant Coach
IMPACT Certified

This will be Allan’s 1st year on staff with Lake VBC and 5th year as a part of the Lake VBC family.  He has coached two seasons with Boys and Girls Club of Lake Stevens and was the R1 for the U14-1’s team this past season as well as assisting Coach Rachelle in Florida during the Open National Qualifier.  Allan also served as the head referee on the U14-1 Lake VBC Referee Team.  Volleyball is an addicting & passionate sport and he is thrilled to be able to teach and share this great game with the kids.
