Welcome to the Timberwolves!   

For those of you who have been around Caboose Park – you may have noticed some work being done on our Timberwolves Game Field at Tiny’s Park.  Last year, we realized that our game field:
  1. 1. did not drain properly, leaving significant water puddles on the Northwest corner, midfield, and sidelines.
  2. 2.  needed several tons of soil placed over the current surface to fill dips and protect exposed sprinkler heads.
  3. 3.  needed to have drain pipes relocated to keep them away from the sidelines of the field

 So – with the help of some very dedicated individuals, some very talented companies and the generosity of you, our participating parents, we are looking forward to having a field that matches the talent and reputation of our teams! 

We compete in the Junior Football League of Northern Illinois (www.jflni.org). 
In 2007, Lake Villa fielded 18 football teams, 8 flag teams, 10 cheer & pom squads, and a mascot program. The Timberwolves organization has developed the skills of thousands of young athletes over the years – with the primary goal of teaching respect, pride and sportsmanship. 
And, in addition to our core values, for our Sunday Football program – we play for Championships!

Our registrations have gone very well.  We hope you agree.  The lines have not been too long and we have had a fantastic turnout.  It looks like we will be going to 20 football teams this year (versus 18 teams last year). Also we are excited about offering some new merchandise this year.  We have a new ‘fat-head style’ Timberwolves football helmet that will look great in a sports room, and we will continue to offer fantastic styles in shirts, sweatshirts and caps. Please take the opportunity to come cheer for your local team at any upcoming event.  Our football teams play their home games at the beautiful Caboose Park and Tiny’s Field in Lake Villa.  Our cheer & pom programs compete at many events at schools throughout the area. 

I sincerely appreciate the contributions that every one of you makes in demonstrating the quality of the Timberwolves organization every day!

Timberbucks can be used towards wearable items such as shirts, hats, sweatshirts, jackets, etc.

Football Summer Camp for 2008 Season

Date:  July 15th - July 17th
Time:  6pm - 8pm
Location:  Caboose Park
Attire: Shorts or loose fitting sports pants & gym shoes/cleats (mouth guard & protective cup optional). 
            Each participant should bring a water bottle
Fees:  $50.00 for registered LVTYFC participants
          $60.00 for non-registered LVTYFC participants

2008 Endzone Sponsor Banners

Advertisement spots are available to be placed at the endzones of our Timberwolves' field
Dimensions:  4' x 6'
Locations:  North or South endzone
Cost:  $550 for the first year.... $400.00 for renewal years
**Also included is a full page advertisement in the Timberwolves' Yearbook, sponsor sticker and plaque.
