Lakeside Little League: Team Parents

Lakeside Little League

Team Parent Role & Responsibilities

There is no more important duty than that of Team Parent in Little League! Following are the roles and responsibilities for the Team Parent position:

  • Responsible for preparing and distributing a team roster to the parents.

  • Responsible for preparing and distributing a snack schedule by the first game.

  • Ensuring each team player receives their patches for their uniform and verifying  that all players have their patches sewn on by Opening Day. This is a little   league requirement. Little League patch on LEFT sleeve, others on RIGHT sleeve.

  • Responsible for recruiting volunteers for the Snack Shack during the regular season.

  • Recruit and collect money for sponsorship activities.

  • Coordination of a team party. This includes collecting money for the team party and coach's gift.

  • Make sure the players clean the dugout after every game and the parents clean up the sidelines/bleachers. We understand the Manager's are aware of this, however, there is always so much going on after a game. This also helps in keeping the ballpark clean.

Thanks in advance for all that you do!!!

Please volunteer your time and talent and be a Team Parent. Contact Dean Marcoccia, Lakeside Team Parent Coordinator @ 847-6756 or send him an Email @ dmarococcia@dsus.com
