The annual Memorial Day tournament on Lake Nepessing was a great success, Larry Gargus, as usual, put on a great weigh-in and grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for the fishermen and their family and friends that showed up for the weigh-in; that was some good food. Everyone had a good time and that's what this tournament is all about. We had 13 teams fish this year. They weighted in a total of 70 fish; with a 6 fish limit that's pretty good. The team of Jim & Ken Ballinger took 1st. place with a total of 17 lbs. 12 oz.. Mike Landon & Shawn Cleveland took big fish with a nice Largemouth weighing 4 lbs. 5 oz.. Taking 2nd. place was the team of Chris Landon & Jeff Moore with 17 lbs. 10 oz.. 3rd. place went to the team of Ron Dowdy & Ed Joubran with a total of 15 lbs. 5 oz..
