2010 Spring Season Signups...begins on Nov. 15.

Reminder that our November meeting is this Thursday, Nov. 12, at 5:30 at Springall Academy (Elementary), which is located behind the San Carlos Recreation Center. [map]

The District 33 meeting will begin at 6:30 so please be prompt as we have much to discuss in a short amount of time.

Looking for something to do over the Thanksgiving school break?
Here's something to consider: attend the La Mesa Athletic Council Baseball Camp.

When: November 23, 24, 25 (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)

Where: Junior Seau Sports Complex [map]

Fees:

Early bird registration: $125 if received by November 13
Regular registration: $150 if received by November 20
Registration on day of camp: $175.
Daily rate: $80

The registration for you should use is listed in the Handouts page.

All proceeds go toward the Junior Seau Sports Complex Artificial Turf Football/Soccer Field Restoration Fund.

The camp is for both boys and girls, ages 6-14, and will be broken down into appropriate age groups and will include opportunities to improve baseball skills including hitting, infielding, outfielding, pitching, catching, and base running

There will be high school players assisting adults at each station for a 5:1 child/instructor ratio.

But hurry and sign up today. The camp will be limited to the first 200 children that register.

Lunch will be provided each day. There will also be a concession stand available for those who wish to buy snacks during the day.

2010 Spring Season...You'll have an opportunity to register for the 2010 Spring Season on Nov. 15. And if you can do it that day, you'll get a discount off the regular registration fee.  I'll post more details here on the site soon.
