LITTLE LEAGUE (ASAP) SAFETY PROGRAM -- Click "HERE" for hyperlink to site.

In 1995, ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program) was introduced by Little League Baseball Williamsport with the goal of re-emphasizing the position of Safety Officer to "create awareness, through education and information, of the opportunities to provide a safer environment for kids and all participants of Little League Baseball".

ASAP is a grass roots program based on communication of ideas. Leagues across the country contribute their safety ideas to ASAP News, a colorful, monthly newsletter. Safety officers can then find out what their peers are doing to make things "safer for the kids."
