Lakeland Little League is seeking sponsors for the 2009 baseball/softball season. We presently have 50+ teams ranging from 6 years to 18 years. Teams consist of approximately 12 players. Our season runs from April until August with regular season games Monday through Saturday followed by tournament play. As a sponsor, your business name will appear on the back of each team player's shirt. You will receive a team picture of the team or teams you sponsor at the end of the season.
Sponsorship fee is $250 per year.

CORPORATE OR INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS NEEDED TO FUND LIGHTS AND MORE ON THE NEW DIAMONDS AT BRIGHTONDALE
Lakeland Little League is proud to announce that our brand new four diamond complex at Brightondale is near completion. Constructed without any taxpayer money, these much needed diamonds will help address our growth now and in the future.
As we all know, growth in Kenosha County has come at a furious pace in the last few years. New homes, businesses, and the reconstruction of Highway 83 point towards a bright future for western Kenosha County. Many local businesses have already recognized this and contributed towards the completion of the Spencer Field Project. For those of you who do not know, Spencer Field is our “home diamond” at Old Settler’s Park at Paddock Lake. Located on the south side of Highway 50 across from Paddock Lake, this old diamond was rehabilitated and named in honor of our late friend, Cheryl Spencer.
A huge part of the funding for this project was the sale of signs on the outfield fence. This generated a good sum for the league; all of which was put back into the field. Spencer Field was completed in 2006 and I urge you to take a drive there to review our efforts.
With that being said, we are extending our sign program to our new facility. Our sign program at Spencer Field was for five years at a cost of $1000.00 plus the cost of the sign. Since we really want to fill these diamonds up fast, we are offering a “7 for 5” program. We are offering seven years for the cost of five; the same $1000.00 plus the cost of the sign.
In addition to our regular season games at Brightondale future events at our new facility will include not only our District Tournament but also the State Championship Tournament.
Although we have a place to play ball, much still needs to be done. Foul poles, lights, scoreboards and a concession stand still need to be funded and put into place. Your support will help get this done.
