Athletic Physicals @ Oak Valley Middle School
Attention Athletes and Parents:
Huron Valley Athletic Physicals are scheduled on Tuesday, June 12th, at

THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENTS OF MILFORD AND LAKELAND HIGH SCHOOLS HAVE ARRANGED WITH SPECIALISTS IN ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY AND EXCEL REHABILITATION SERVICES TO OFFER HIGH QUALITY LOW COST PHYSICALS FOR THE COMING SCHOOL YEAR.
ALL ATHLETES NEED A PHYSICAL DATED AFTER APRIL 15, 2012.

No student shall be eligible to represent a high school/middle school for whom there is not on file in the offices of the principal or athletic director of that school, statements for current school year certifying that the student has passed a physical examination and is physically able to compete in athletic tryouts, practices and contests effective AUG. 8th, 2011

All hockey players interested in playing varsity hockey that are or will be attending LHS next year are welcome to attend the meeting. June 8th at 7:00pm @ LHS in the LGI Room.

Huron Valley Athletics Fundraiser - Comedy Show
Your help is needed.....This should be a really fun night going to support our athletics that really need it. We all know how important and fun sports have been to making well rounded kids.
Hope to see you all there.
Huron Valley Athletics will host its 1st comedy show and live auction on Friday, June 15th from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at 59 West in Highland. This adult only event includes: appetizers, prime rib/chicken dinner, beverages with cash bar, silent and live auction, door prizes, raffle drawings. Proceeds will benefit Huron Valley Athletics by maintaining the current pay to participate fees, transportation costs, assuring that our athletes are supported by an athletic trainer, preserving middle school and sub-varsity programming.
The comedy event will include Zach Martina, Lakeland Alumnus (Opener), Tom McCarthy (Featured Act) and Vince Averill, Milford Alumnus (Headliner). Performing during the dinner hour will be local band Fifth and Main. The Stablein boys, are Fifth & Main known for their tight acoustic harmonies. Also singing, Kari Holmes. her genre of music is Pop/Country but her voice crosses over into Rock and Blues. Lakeland Athletic Director, Greg Michaels and Milford Athletic Director, Chris Ceresa will assist in the Live Auction festivities.
Tickets for the event can be purchased through the Athletic Department. Tickets are $55 and go on sale May 7th. Please contact Angie Jantz, Lakeland athletic secretary at 248-676-8302 and Sandy Alaska, Milford athletic secretary at 248-684-8212 for tickets. Please pay via Payschools located on the athletic website(s) or make checks payable to Huron Valley Athletics. (Auction items can be purchased by cash/check/credit card.)
