Travel & Intramural Registration
Starting with this Fall's Registration, ALL Lake Grove players, both Travel and Intramural will register on-line. Please Note: TRAVEL PLAYERS SHOULD NOT REGISTER ONLINE UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED BY THE COACH THAT YOU HAVE MADE THE TEAM. If you register and have not made the team, a portion of the fee will be retained to cover processing costs. Travel Players in Age Groups U11 and Older: You must choose "Pay by Check". The check should be payable to your team and given to your coach. DO NOT PAY BY CREDIT CARDIntramural Registration This is a 2 Season Registration, New Player fee of $90 (With Opt-In for Fundraising Participation And Includes Uniform). Returning Players fee is $70(With Opt-In for Fundraising Participation). The Fall & Spring Sessions will consist of 9 Games each, which will be played on Sundays at Holbrook Road Elementary School and/or Nokomis Elementary School. Our Game schedule will start Sept. 13th 2009 for Fall & March 28th 2010 for the Spring. Please contact the Intramural Registrar by email (LakeGroveSoccer@optonline.net)for any questions.

Vipers Go to Presidents Cup Finals
The Lake Grove Vipers, U15 Boys will be representing Lake Grove Triangle Soccer, ENY, and Region 1, in the 2009 President’s Cup U15 Championship finals in Raleigh N.C. July 17 - 19. The Vipers qualified for The President's Cup Finals by winning tournaments in Pittsburgh, PA and Kirkwood DE. We wish the Vipers the best of luck and are very proud they are representing the club in the National Championships.

Interested in playing for a Lake Grove team? Check out the Tryouts section. Please Note: As Percy Raynor is closed for maintenance thru Friday, June 19th, check with the coach if tryouts were originally scheduled for Percy Raynor to determine the revised location.
Lake Grove Soccer Players March in Memorial Day Parade
Nearly 100 Lake Grove players and family participated in this year's Memorial Day Parade. All the players were decked out in their Lake Grove uniforms, while parents and siblings were rewarded with a "I Play for the Best" Lake Grove T-Shirt. Thanks to all the volunteers and especially Taran Muhlenforth, who organized the event for Lake Grove. The team that had the most participation was "Hawaii" Coach Alfieri and they won a $ 50 Gift Certificate to Dunkin Donuts. Look for these Pictures in the "Our Place" magazine July edition.
Lake Grove Provides over 100 Volunteers for Centereach Ballfield Cleanup
On Saturday, April 18th, players, families and friends got together to help cleanup the Centereach Ballfields on Horseblock Road. The Town of Brookhaven has planned to construct a multi-purpose turf field, which could be ready for the Fall 2009 Season. The volunteers worked throughout the day, from 9:30 to 3:30 and collected many bags of trash, recyclables and debris. This effort will help get the park ready for the field. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time.
Intramural Referees Needed - Ages 10 and Up!
Would you like to make some extra money? Referees are paid from $10 to $15 per game.
For those Lake Grove players who are interested in reffing at the Intramural Level, please check the Handouts Section on the left. It contains the Rules for all divisions, as well as the Referee Policies and Procedures. A mandatory Availability Form is also available in the Handouts Section. Complete this immediately to be scheduled for games. You can access them by clicking on the picture of the Ref on the left.

A Successful Winter for Lake Grove Teams

Rampage Take First Place in LI Winter Classic
Congratulations to the Lake Grove Rampage for finishing in 1st place in the Long Island Winter Classic Tournament. The boys went undefeated with only allowing 1 goal against them and scoring 13 goals. The boys played very hard and we are so proud of them. Way to go boys!

2008 Annual Lake Grove Raffle - Congratulations to All the Winners
Please be advised that any outstanding Raffle Ticket Stubs that have not been returned to the Club - either sold or unsold - are null and void. Numbers will be drawn each weekday evening at Seneca Middle School at 8 pm. Checks will be mailed to the owners of the winning ticket(s) within two weeks of the drawing. Please keep your tickets, as you are eligible to win, each and every drawing.
Please note that there was an error in the printing of the tickets; Thanksgiving was listed on Nov 20th instead of Nov 27th. BOTH days will receive the Thanksgiving Bonus Prize of $150.
Coaches! Interested in Getting Your "B" or "C" License?
All coaches are encouraged to obtain their C-License and B-License. Both licensing classes will be held at Hiawatha Elementary School on Tuesdays from 7p-10p. The sessions will run consecutively from Jan 6-March 10.
We need 20 coaches minimum to run each class. We’ll open the classes first to Lake Grove coaches, then to SYSL coaches and then to outside coaches. If all Lake Grove coaches interested in the courses can please email Debbie Horber by 11/26 at dhorber@optonline.net. she will then email them a coaches information form and her address so they can mail her their check and form. All payments must be in Debbie's hands by 12/4/08.
