Team photos are scheduled for Saturday May 18th at the Underwood Park fields.  If it is raining, pictures will be at the new gym in Bluffview.  Coaches will contact the players if pictures are at Bluffview, otherwise plan on pictures at Underwood Park.

 Coaches will be handing out order forms, these must be returned at the time of your photo session on the 4th. 

Please note that your scheduled photo session will NOT be during your scheduled game time.  Make sure you check the schedule carefully so you know exactly when you are scheduled for pictures on the 4th.

All soccer games for this Saturday (May 4th) have been cancelled.  These games will not be made up.  In addition, pictures have been postponed until Saturday May 18th.  A new picture schedule will be announced soon.

Due to the current conditions of the fields and the expected sub-freezing temperatures forecasted for Saturday morning, ALL soccer practices for Saturday April 20th will be CANCELLED.  These practices will not be made up.  

Also, remember that Saturday April 27th will be practices and not games.  Practices will be at the normal practice times.

Due to the late winter and current conditions  of the fields at Underwood Park, the youth soccer season will be delayed 1 week.  We will now start on Saturday April 20th and go through Saturday June 8th.  Spread the word.

The Lake City Soccer Club will begin it's 11th season on Saturday April 20th.  The first two Saturdays (April 20th and April 27th) will be reserved for practices.  

• 1st and 2nd graders will practice from 9:00 - 10:00am.  
• Kindergarten will practice from 10:15 - 11:15am. 
• Tiny Tiger soccer practice for 4 and 5 year olds will be from 11:30 - 12:30pm. 
• 3rd and 4th grade teams will practice from 1:00pm - 2:15pm. 
• 5th and 6th grade teams will practice from 2:30pm - 3:45pm.   

3rd grade through 6th grade teams will also have one practice during the week.

Games will be on Saturdays beginning May 4th and continuing through June 8th.  Game schedules and team rosters will be handed out at the first practice.

 All practices and games will be played at the UNDERWOOD PARK fields.

All players will be required to wear shin guards which need to be completely covered by long socks.  Tennis shoes or soccer cleats should be worn.  Football, baseball, or all-purpose cleats are not allowed.  All earrings must be removed prior to practice and games.  It is recommended that wire rim glasses NOT be worn during practices and games.  All players are encouraged to bring their own soccer ball to practice.  Tiny Tiger and Kindergarten through 2nd grade will use a size 3 soccer ball.  3rd grade through 6th grade will use a size 4 soccer ball.  All players are also encouraged to bring their own water to all practices and games.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!  We need 2 coaches for each team.  A concession stand will also be available on game days and volunteers are needed to work the concession stand.  No experience is necessary to volunteer for any position.
