Sunday, December 14 2009 Brings a New Look to the Giants Thursday, December 18 Who is the King of the Grand Slam? Saturday, December 13 Who's on First? Saturday, December 13 2009 LA Giants After an unbelievable finish to the 2007 season winning the USSSA State Title and the AAYBA Nationals the Giants had lofty expections for 2008. The tournament season for 08 was rocky to say the least for the Giants. After having to play a grueling 5 games on Sunday to win the opening season YBBR Tournament the Giants had a roller coaster run through several tournaments. The guys played well but just could not seem to put together the 4-5 games needed to win a tournament. The Team did win the 2008 YBBR League which was a great accomplishment. With a lack of participation there was not a 12 yr old LA. state tournament so the team had to wait to travel to Memphis for the SuperSeries National Championship. After a somewhat rough start, similar to the 07 Nationals the Giants strung together 6 wins to claim their second National Title. So once again for the '09 season the Giants will have high expections as they go for the 3peat Friday, December 12 Pitching Practice Saturday 12-13-08

We will have practice on Sunday from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Highland Road Park. Please let Coach Adam know if you can make this or if there are any conflicts.
The boys will need to wear their Giants gold hat (for those who have them). We will fit the boys for their hats along with cleats, etc. We should have multiple sample items to try on by Sunday.

Wednesday, January 14 Tournament Schedule Thursday, March 5 USSSA Capital City Classic Game Times Monday, April 6 Giants Slump at terror Classic The guys had another weekend series with the rival BR Astros with a break in between by playing the NOLA Privateers. ... Monday, April 27 Giants Win Crawfish Classic !! The Giants finallly played up to expections going 4-0 and winning their first tournament of a year. The opening game against a solid Next Level Legacy team went to the final inning before the Blue & Gold pulled it out. The Giants put 2 on the score board in the 1st with basehits by Joey Jett and Chandler Elvir but were then held scorless the next 5 innings.
