MISSION STATEMENT

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The goals and objectives of the

Elmwood Park Lady Tigers Organization are:

1.  To provide female athletes the opportunity to learn, strengthen and improve their skills and to demonstrate their softball abilities at the highest level of competition, which shall include serving as a strong source of recruitment by colleges and universities.

2.  To instill by example and reinforce the values of good citizenship, community awareness, service, dedication and teamwork in a fostering environment where the girls' safety and welfare are top priorities.

3.  To promote and foster among the members of the various teams the ideal of good sportsmanship, how to be a gracious winner and a well-mannered loser.

4.  To promote and foster the desire among the members of the various teams to strive to always do and be the best they can be on and off the field.

5.  To advance the mental and physical development of the girls through participation in sports.
