Lady Stingers Tryouts!
The 2003 Nationally Known K.A.Y.A Lady Stingers will be holding Tryouts on February 22, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. The Tryouts will be held at Whittle Springs Middle School in Knoxville,TN. All young ladies with an interest in improving their game need to attend this tryout. The program has been in existence for over 10 years and has coaches that not only played the sport, but has an insight to bringing out the best performance as well. The past has brought many great athletes through our program that have gone on to the college ranks. We look forward to working with young ladies this year. If you are looking for a program that will work with you in every aspect of the game and spend the time working on your ability. This program is for you. If you don't have any commitment this program is not for you because we only want to work the committed.

The Lady Stingers Win The 2004 East TN. Sub-State!
The Ladystingers went to Harriman, TN. and came back home the Champions. Thanks go out to the young ladies and all the supporters of this program. The Stingers now will prepare to go to the State Tournament in Lebanon, TN. The young ladies play hard and donate a lot of their time. The Lady Stingers defeated the Lady Tar Heels, TN. Sparks and finished with the TN. Elite. Good Job Ladies! Everyone at the state better get ready!

The Lady Stingers Win The 2004 TN. Mountain Jam
The Ladystingers went to Jefferson City, TN. and came back home the Champions. Thanks go out to the young ladies and all the supporters of this program. The Stingers now will prepare to go to the Sub-State Tournament in Harriman, TN. The young ladies play hard and donate a lot of their time. The Lady Stingers defeated the Jackson Jaguars, the Lady Shooters, the Blount Bullets, TN. Sparks and finished with the Lady Tar Heels. Good Job Ladies! Everyone at the Sub-State better get ready!

Looking for well run girl's tournament for your AAU or YBOA team for 2003. The Knox Area Youth Alliance will be hosting two tournaments for the Spring 2003. The first will be held the Weekend of March 21-23 (Lady Stingers Invitational)and the second will be held May 16-18 (KAYA Classic). The ages will be 10-14 & under with a 3 game guarantee. The cost is $130.00. For more info. please contact A. Whitehead at 865-406-9127 or 865-546-9346. We will be awarding trophies to teams that finish 1st thru 3rd place with all an tournament team being selected by an independent panel.

The Ladystingers went to LaFollette, TN. and came back home the Champions. Thanks go out to the young ladies and all the supporters of this program. The Stingers now will prepare to go to the Super Regionals in Murfreesboro, TN. The young ladies play hard and donate a lot of their time. The Lady Stingers defeated the Lady Eagles, Lady Pioneers. The Lady Stingers finished by defeating the Lady Pioneers in the championship game. Good Job Ladies!

LADY STINGERS WINS 2004 AAU STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Ladystingers went to Lebanon, TN. and came back home the State Champions. Thanks go out to the young ladies and all the supporters of this program. The Stingers now will prepare to go to the nationals both in Cocoa Beach, FLA. (YBOA) and Monroe, LA (AAU). The young ladies play hard and donate a lot of their time. The Lady Stingers defeated the Memphis Elite, TN. Team Pride. and then loss to the TN. Colts. The Lady Stingers rebounded by defeating the TN. Express in the Semi-Final game which place them in the Championship game versus the TN. Team Pride where they avenged their loss by defeating them in the championship game. Please help send these young ladies to the nationals financially by sending in donations at the address you can find on our web page.

The K.A.Y.A. Classic all-tournament team is as follows: (TN. Liberty) #14 Kerri Simpson, #20 KB Beverly, #44 Michelle Smith/ (Lady Tar Heels) #22 Bailey Gabbard, #32 Dena Riner, #54 Kiah Simmons/ (Lady Pacers) #22 Brittney Carney, #24 Linda Augburns/ (TN. Titans) #00 Christina Muse, #21 Nichole Franklin. We had a great time and look forward to hosting the K.A.Y.A. Classic again next year. However, there is another tournament coming up in June. The K.A.Y.A. Summer Jam, remember we give trophies to the teams finishing 1st through 4th place. An all tournament team is chosen by an independent panel.

Lady Stingers 2004 YBOA State Champions!
The K.A.Y.A. Lady Stingers went to the YBOA State Tournament and came back home the YBOA State Champion. We will be representing The Mighty State of Tennessee at the Nationals down in Cocoa Beach, Fla. I hope all the teams in attendance come ready to play hard. Wish you luck and hope to see you there!
