Lady Bombers 01: Welcome

For those of you that didnt make it out to Lutz on SuperBowl Sunday you missed a hitting clinic put on by the Lady Bombers 01 team. Every girl on the team had shots to the outfield putting up 25 runs in 7 innings over 2 games. Pitching was good and defense was average allowing 5 runs to score.

WOW!!! That is the only word to describe this weekend. 3 out of 5 games came down to the last at bat. The Lady Bombers went 3-2 this weekend losing to the Winter Springs Panthers both times on the last at bats including the Championship game that went to the bottom of the 7th to determine the winner. Congrats to the Panthers and the Bombers for one heck of a game. Way to play tough and never give up.

The Lady Bombers give back this holiday season by having a Christmas luncheon for needy families. The toys we collected at our Toys for Tots tourney were used to help each family and kid to have a wonderful Christmas. Thanks for everyone who helped, it was wonderful to give back to our community.

What a GREAT weekend of Bomber Softball, the young ladies took the #1 seed at States going 3-0 on Saturday giving up just 5 runs with a no-hitter in there. We enjoyed the stayover at the hotel with all the families present to exchange our secret Santa, the parents enjoyed themselves after that, and fun was had by all. The Bombers came out Sunday starting the day with another no-hitter against the St Pete Fury and then had to suffer through a 3 hr rain delay to end up losing to another 00 team that played down in the Semi-Finals. It was a great fall season for the 10U Lady Bombers and we are looking forward to a wonderful spring season with lots of success to head our way. GREAT JOB to the players and parents of the Lady Bombers 01 Team!!
