Schluckebier said this game meant a lot to him after the Kewpies lost a tough game at Ladue last season.
I dont know about the other guys, but I was waiting 365 days for this game, Schluckebier said.
When I looked at the schedule, this was an important game to me. Im just really happy to come out with a win.

"I think Ladue ran out of gas a little bit, but we had a lot to do with that," Hawkins said. "We really had our attack flowing pretty well."
In addition to Browns individual scoring onslaught, fellow attacker Logan Otto added four goals and three assists and Chris Hurst scored five goals in the rout. After surrendering the first goal of the game, Hickman reeled off seven unanswered goals to take control.
"Were trying to make the playoffs, so weve got a little more motivation now," Otto said. "I think everybody was battling out there, but we played smart. We stayed out of the penalty box for the most part, and once we get clicking like that, its hard for teams to stop our attack."

The Bruins lost to Ladue 13-11 on Saturday at Cosmopolitan Park.
Ladue controlled the ball the entire game and won because of Bruins penalties.
