Ritch Price, Head Coach Kansas

Chris,

Thanks for the great note. I'm currently in Europe with Team USA and just got access to your e-mail.  It was a pleasure to watch your team play, you've got several outstanding players.  I plan to make it a point to continue to see your team play in the future.  Continued success in this great game.

Rock Chalk,

Coach Price

We are always looking at the top programs that are producing Division 1 student/athletes and the Louisiana All Stars has consistently delivered some of the elite players across the country. Chris Counts has a direct understanding of what it takes to play at the next level and prepares his group of players to be successful. We can always trust his evaluation on a player and his character.

"The Louisiana All Stars are one of the elite programs in the country.  Coach Counts is one of the best at preparing his players for the next level and he has the history to prove that.  At Tulane, we make sure to see them play as much as possible because their roster is always filled with Division 1 talent."

Jeff Willis, Head Coach LSU-Eunice CC

"The level of play, schedule, and coaching the players receive on the Louisiana All-Star team makes them one of the premier programs in the country. We have been fortunate enough to have many of our players play with the All-Star team during their career. Coach Chris Counts does an impeccable job coaching some of the best players in the country and you cannot go wrong playing for the All Stars."

Don Clinton, Panola College
"All-Star baseball has been a long running tradition in Louisiana. They have showcased players from all over the state of Louisiana and sent many kids to the college and pro ranks. As a College Coach we continuously look to the Louisiana All-Stars for players, because we know the high caliber of player that is part of their program."

Chris Soileau, Teach-Me-More, Inc.
"Playing in the All-Star organization and under Coach Chris Counts is
really an honor and very beneficial. Many former players at the
collegiate and pro-level had the privilege of using this program as a
foundation to launch their career.
There are many other teams/programs attempting the same as All-Star,
but the results are just not the same."

Chris Demouy, ALL STAR '95
“It is the best summer baseball team in Louisiana. We played against the best competition, which really prepared me for baseball at the Division I level.”

Gerry Garidel, Catholic HS (BR)
"The face of summer league and fall baseball has really changed in the last 10 years. The competition and recruiting process has moved from a regional setting in nature to a national showcase of talent. During this time Coach Counts has established and maintained the Louisiana ALL Star's as one of the top programs in the nation. The better players that will be moving on to college baseball need to be in a more competitive situation that will allow them to play the college type schedule against the other top players across the country. As a high school coach I can say nine of our former players have played for Chris including my own son. As a dad, it allows me to say what a great experience it was for him to be part of this program as he prepared for college baseball."

Former Head Coach

Patrick Coogan, ALL STAR '95
"Being exposed to the highest level of competition is what the program is all about. I know that it prepared me and my teammates to take the step up into college and pro ball. Coach Counts continues to elevate the performance and expectations of his players."

"Southern National power program with history of top draft picks, lots of high WWBA finishes."

Scott Viator, Bossier Parish CC
It was the best experience of my life!

WWBA Director on LHP Sean West
Our reports on Sean were very good. The Louisiana All Stars have 3 2005 LHP's in Sean, Beau Jones and Jeremy Bleich who will all rank among the top left handed pitchers in their class. West is 6-8 and projects off the charts. Jones already touches 90. Bleich has the best CB and change of the trio and is polished. I would hate to face them in a 3 game series, that's for sure.

"LA All Stars is the premier team in Louisiana in my opinion. He also has one of the premier teams in the United States. Although there are others in the state that are good.....none compare in my opinion to how hard Chris and his staff work to promote and teach the kids in his program."
