The Louisiana All Stars won one of the toughest pools at the entire event by defeating one of the pre-tournament favorites and nationally ranked East Cobb Baseball Team on Saturday to claim ANOTHER top 10 finish at this event out of 85 teams.&nbsp; All Star faced two projected 1st round picks in Karsten Whitsen and Stetson Allie against East Cobb.&nbsp; Allie's first pitch to Tyler Caruthers was clocked at 97 mph!&nbsp; All Star fell to another pre-tournament favorite and eventual tournament champion, Braves Scout Team, in the playoffs. 
</p>

The players represented the State of Louisiana and the Louisiana All Star Baseball Program with the utmost class, courage, and competitive nature the entire weekend!&nbsp; I am very proud of all the players!
