Uniforms

We seem to be having a rough time getting into the right uniform. Our primary uniform is black and white stripe jersey, black adidas shorts with white trim and black socks with white strips. Our alternative uniform is the same bottom half with the adidas all white jersey. Ever player has been given a complete kit. If you need a component please go to Soccer Pro. They have what you need.

Los Gatos Respect
Hi Hugh,
I just wanted to tell you that I thought your girls did an awesome job on Saturday in spite of having so many girls missing. They played tough and didn't give up.
Good luck the rest of the season.

Fall Season
Hi La Fenice families -

Fall registration is coming up in the next couple of weeks and it is
time to think about if your daughter and you as a family want to
continue to participate in a competitive soccer league. As you know
it has been our goal to maintain 2 U11 teams, La Fenice White and La
Fenice Black. We currently have 14 players and La Fenice Black has
15 players.    As we begin to prepare for the fall season, it is
essential that we identify what direction your child/family wish to
pursue. The choices are as follows:

1.       Does your child wish to continue to play competitive
soccer in the fall?
2.       Does your child wish to be considered for the higher level
La Fenice team coached by Darrell Ringman?
3.       For those players that are currently playing up, does your
child wish to be considered for Avanza Black (U10 in Fall) or stay in
the U11 league?

Based on the feedback that we get from the above will determine if
we will be able to maintain 2 teams at either the U10 or U11 level or
both. In addition, with normal attrition and family choices away
from soccer we will need to add 6 to 8 age appropriate players to
continue with the 2 teams.   As always, any referrals for players in
these age groups are greatly appreciated.   Below is information to
help you answer the questions and form a decision:

La Fenice Black will consist of girls who have the skills,
commitment, maturity and desire to play on an advanced competitive
team. They will be class 3 this coming fall with the intent to go to
class 1 the following fall '07.   The coach is Darrell Ringman, who
has coached and played soccer for several years and is great with the
kids. Coach Darrell's bio is included for your reference.

La Fenice White will consist of girls who have the skills,
commitment, maturity and desire to play on a less competitive soccer
team. The direction would be to stay class 3 and continue to develop
the players so they could have the opportunity to advance to a more
competitive team if they so desire. The coaching situation is
undecided for La Fenice White, but many leads exist and will be
actively followed up on to ensure continuity for the
team.   Hugh will be available to assist, but has decided to step
down and will be more involved with the management of the team and
also Juventus club.

Avanza is the U10 team and is an option for the girls whose
birthdays fall between August 1, 1996 and July 31, 1997. They will
play 8 v 8 and on a smaller field than the girls have this spring.
Avanza would be class 3 in the fall and the direction of either class
1 or 3 is undecided.   The coach is currently Peter Leib who has
coached AYSO for a couple of years and is also great with the kids.

If you would like to check out the teams, please go to the Juventus
web site http://www.juventussportclub.org and look under teams and
click on the appropriate team website.

The goal of the coaches and management of the current 3 teams is to
have a proper developmental experience available to the girls through
both competitive and advanced-competitive teams.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Hugh
or myself.
