2005 TEAM UPDATES
HENRY COUNTY
Henry County is returning all but 2 players from last year. We are looking to improve our hitting and fielding from 2004. Many players have moved to different positions this year, making us a faster fielding team. We are expecting big things from both Samantha Barmore and Micah Douglas on the mound. Barmore, Lindsay Craigmyle, Kayla Shuck, Nikki Chilton, Miranda Hawkins, and Victoria Mahoney should provide a lot of hits for our team.

2005 TEAM UPDATES
ANDERSON COUNTY
We are returning just 2 Seniors and 2 Juniors. We have a strong class of underclassmen. We will have a very young talented team. Many freshman and an eighth grader will get valuable playing time in varsity. We are led by the strong right arm of Sophomore Colleen Fitzpatrick. We will rely on her excellent pitching to keep us in games. Last year we replaced our entire field. This year, although we are extremely young, I look for many of these young girls to step up and play with confidence. Being so young, our team still has a lot to learn. However, I look for us to be ready for tournament play.

TRIMBLE COUNTY
For Trimble County it appears to be a reloading year. We have only three returning starters from 2004 season. Trimble also lost all of the varsity pitchers and catchers from last years team. Maybe by district time we might be competitive! The bright spots for us is the play of Megan Gilley in centerfield, Libby McKinney in right field and Sammie Crouch at short. Thats our three returning starters from 2004.
