We are the Kutztown Rugby Alumni Co., comprised of former rugby players who wore the Kutztown Rugby jersey. In recent years, the Kutztown Rugby program has begun to make its name nationally in the rugby community. This success is due to the efforts of all current and former players and coaching staffs. Now the alumni will do their part to help to further support the current rugby team both morally and financially. The established foundation will be overseeing the following: the alumni fund with the University, annual fund-raisers, maintaining the Kutztown Rugby web site, continued building of a network to help graduating players when they enter the workforce, establish a fund that will be used for financial support of the collegiate side and form a fund that will allow the alumni to offer scholarships to current players based on need and or merit. These tasks are not easily accomplished as our alumni are strewn across America. Therefore, through the use of our web site, mailings and phone chains, we will still strive to do our part to further assist Kutztown Rugby in its quest to be at the forefront of the national rugby community. As alumni we believe that a college education is the most important reason for attending college. We stand committed and steadfast in making this the first and foremost goal of a player while attending Kutztown. Kutztown Rugby has not only helped shape our lives as adults but allowed us to advance our professional lives with the education received at Kutztown University. It is now our chance to help foster those ideals and give back to a program that has given us all so much.
