Although this is a Rec Program, classes are not done as "sessions", with defined start and end dates. This is training in the traditional meaning, where a student will start as a White Belt, and will progress all the way through the different colored ranks. A student could go so far as to attain Advanced Black Belt ranks, if they trained long enough.
*Classes are open to anybody, not just for OOB residents*
Classes are broken down into different payment plans, for your convenience.
* 2010 Pricing *
Monthly - $45 ($540/year)
6 Month - $240 ($480/year) *A $60 savings over the monthly plan
12 Month - $440 *A $100 savings over the monthly plan *A $40 savings over the 6 Month plan
All fees are at the rate schedule from when the student joined. Rates will NOT increase UNLESS the student has a break in training that is 6 months or longer. This is known as the Incentive Program, where a student is rewarded for remaining a student in “good standing”. After that 6 month time period has elapsed, the student will have to rejoin at whatever the current rates are, unless prior arrangements have been discussed and agreed upon by Sabumnim Bonneau.
In the 6 Month Option and 12 Month Options, a minimum down-payment of $40 is due at sign-up. The remaining 5 or 11 payments are due in 5 or 11 equal monthly installments.
You can also pay all of the cost at sign-up, if you choose. Either way is fine by me, but I was thinking that the smaller monthly payments might be easier to do. In any event, all payments would be due by the first class of each month, regardless of the Payment Option you are using.
* In the Monthly Option, you can decide at any time to change to the 6-Month or 12-Month Option.
* First time sign-ups receive a free uniform when signing up for the 6 Month or 12 Month Options *
Making Payments:
In the past, I have received payments directly from students, and turned them over to the Rec Dept. This seems to work easier than your having to go to the Rec each month. However, if you prefer to pay the Rec directly, that is fine also, I just ask that you let me know that.
Cash is accepted, but if paying by check or money order, they should be made payable to OOB Rec
Family / Business Plans
The first two (2) family members are at the listed prices. Any other family members are able to train at no additional charge.
For the Business (Corporate) (School) (Organization) Plan, the pricing follows a similar format as the Family Plan, but with a little twist. For example: If 3 people from the same business (company, school, organization) sign up, the price for the 2 memberships is paid equally by all 3 students. It then continues on, with every other sign-up being "free". Example: 5 students join: 3 pay, 2 are "free" (Payments divided equally by all 5 students.) This continues on: 7 students join: 4 pay, 3 are "free"; 9 students join: 5 pay, 4 are "free". You get the idea . . .
