I just found the site and was checking it out. I played for the first Knoxville Stars with some of the guys on your site. Mark Rouse was my coach and I played with Matt Ballard,Jason Payne and Kevin Scruggs. I played at Powell Highschool and then Walters State for one year. I enjoyed the site. Jimmy Miller

Stars player, parents, & coaches,
This is the 4th year we have played in the Smokey Mtn. Classic, and it is the "one" tournament our players always ask to play in each year. You are to be commended for putting on a top rate tournament each year, and this year was no exception. The field of teams assembled was excellent, Caswell Park is one of the best places we have played, the Marriott was great(even the elevator races), and the friends you see and meet help make this tourney truly a "can't miss" event.
Preston and Doug, I know it's a lot of work, but when it comes off without a hitch like last weekend, it makes the effort worth it. I wish we could have played a couple more times this year, but it wasn't in the cards.
Good luck at Cooperstown Stars. Don't destroy all of the fences with home runs. Leave some of the fences up for us when we get there.

Congratulations on a great showing in Puerto Rico and a fine season in general. We are looking forward to seeing the Stars next year not just because of the great organiztion you have, but because of the sportmanship and class you exhibit on the field.
