Katy National Little League: Field Use Policy

KNLL Field Use Policy (effective Jan 1, 2009)
KNLL employs a field use policy so that we may ensure the continued intergrity of the fields and facilities for use by Little League registered players. The lease agreement with Harris County provides that Katy National Little League controls the use the of fields and facilities.
Team Requirements:
1. All team rosters must have a minimum of 51% of it's players registered to play in KNLL during the Spring and /or Fall season. The 51% must be active members of the select team.
2. All teams are required to provide rosters which will include name, birth date and address of each player and coach.
3. All teams are required to carry insurance and provide a copy of the policy to KNLL. The insurance policy must note as additional insured: Katy National Little League, Inc. and Harris County Precinct #3.
4. All teams must participate in two of the four Katy Klassic tournaments. Or, one tournament and the Fall Select League.
Violation of any of the above requirements will result in immediate suspension of field use priviledges and forfeiture of all fees.
Fees:
1. $125.00 per six months. The Spring season will run from Jan 1 to June 31st. The Fall season will run from July 1st to Dec 31st. Fees, roster and insurance are due by Jan 10th and July 10th.
2. Refunds: There is no restrictions on the number of times the fields can be used. No refunds will be issued once a team makes use of a field or batting cage.
Terms of Use:
1. Field configurations may not be altered in any manner. Violation of this requirement will result in immediate suspension of field use priviledges and forfeiture of all fees.
2. Lights will not be provided.
3. Teams will be held responsible for any damage caused to the fields and facilities above and beyond normal use. Violation of this requirement will result in immediate suspension of field use priviledges and forfeiture of all fees.
4. Scheduling requests must be submitted three days in advance via email to the contact listed on this page. Cancellations must also be submitted via email.
5. Little League functions and field maintenance have priority over all other events.
6. Scheduled field time may be changed or cancelled without notice.
7. This policy is subject to change without notice.
8. Katy National Little League reserves the right to refuse field use for any reason.
Katy National Little League does not rent fields on a one time basis.
Select teams whose players do not participate in Little League sanctioned events or do not meet the requirements set forth are prohibited from using Katy National Little League fields and facilities.
