Tryouts for the Kamiak volleyball teams (Varsity, Junior Varsity & Freshman) will be held for three days, starting Monday, August 24.  Players MUST ATTEND all three days to be considered for a spot.  Because of various facility needs, tryouts will be conducted in the Main Gym during the following times:

MONDAY 8/24:  2:00 - 5:00pm

TUESDAY 8/25:  4:30 - 7:30pm

WEDNESDAY 8/26:  2:00 - 5:00pm

At the end of Wednesday's session, players will be notified of their selection to participate in the program, but team rosters may not be completely solidified.  The coaching staff would also like to remind those trying out that, if you do not get selected to play, please consider staying on as a team manager ... you would be a great help!

* PLEASE be sure to complete all paperwork & be cleared through the Athletic Office before tryouts.  We ask that you bring the yellow copy of your clearance form, just in case.

For those interested in trying out for Kamiak volleyball, there will be one final meeting before the "quiet period" begins on August 1; this is NOT MANDATORY & just serves as an additional information session. 

Meet Coach Bowie in the Kamiak weight room at 10am on Friday, July 31.

Coach Bowie will be running the Open Weight Room during the last week of July (M, W & F from 8-10am), so feel free to come by & get some extra conditioning.  The Main Gym floor is currently being re-finished, but the Aux Gym may be available (as that floor will also be re-finished soon) for possible ball handling & scrimmage.

Tryouts for the three Kamiak volleyball teams (Varsity, Junior Varsity, Freshman) will begin on Monday, August 24 & run for three days (keep an eye on the Calendar for times); an athlete MUST be present on ALL THREE DAYS to be considered.  Clearance from the Athletic Office must also be granted before taking the court; these included submittal of the following items:

* Proof of insurance

* Signed Athletic Registration Form

* Purchase of an ASB card

* Up-to-date physical

Athletes, to expedite everything on the first day of tryouts, please submit the above material to the Athletic Office on or before "Fall Clearance Day" (Tuesday, August 18) AND BRING YOUR YELLOW CLEARANCE COPY to tryouts.
