2015 Spring Baseball Registration is Now Open:  KLL has opened up the spring registration window for 2015.  Please visit the Handouts section of our website to print, complete, and return a registration form.  Standard registration is open now through February 27, 2015.  Late registration will be subject to a $20 late fee.
LAST CALL to anyone that intends to submit a registration for the upcoming spring baseball season but has not yet done so. There may still be plenty of snow on the ground, and the daytime temperatures are still not helping to solve this problem, but the KLL Board of Directors is now ready to begin organizing team rosters and placing orders for uniforms. In order to successfully do so, we need to have all registrations submitted by the end of the coming weekend, March 1st. If you are interested in registering your young ball player(s) for the upcoming season but are unable to to submit the form and/or payment at this time for any reason at all, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KLL TRYOUTS:  Saturday, March 14th for any players planning on playing Minors, Majors, or Juniors, (typically age 9 and up). Please know that any player that registers to play Little League baseball with KLL WILL play baseball no matter what, even if they are not able to attend the tryout. The tryout is really more of a player evaluation, and provides all managers and coaches a chance to see the abilities and skills of players prior to organizing and making team rosters. This then allow all the managers and coaches to better organize team rosters in a fair and balanced way. Please help us explain to all our young ball players that the tryout is not intended to be a "test" and it has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not they make a team. Instead, it is being held with their best interest in mind, and with the goal of creating well balanced teams that will then allow all of our players to have a fun filled and rewarding season.
Little League Boundary Regulation Change for 2014:  Little League has made a significant league boundary rule change for this year.  For more information, click on the YouTube link below as Pat Wilson, Little League's Sr. VP of Operations and Program Development, discusses the rule change and the reasoning in greater detail.

For KLL, this applies to players (and their siblings) who attend KRHS or Northwest Christian School.  Both of these schools, and any children who attend these schools, regardless of their residence (e.g. Newton, Stillwater, Fredon, etc.) can now play for KLL and no waiver or board release/acceptance is necessary.
