Annual KRHS Baseball Clinic:  KRHS Varsity Baseball Head Coach Brian Bosworth and some of his varsity players are hosting their annual players clinic on Saturday, March 31st, from 10-11:30 a.m. for KLL Rookies, Minors, Majors, and Juniors level.  It will be hosted indoors in the main gym so weather will not be a factor.  PLEASE have the kids wear sneakers.  No cleats will be allowed.

There is also a coaches/safety clinic being hosted from 10:30-11:30 a.m.  At least one manager/coach from every team (including T-Ball) must attend the coaches/safety clinic for our ASAP certification.

 2012 Evaluation Update:  Please note that the player evaluations for the Minors & Majors players (3rd thru 6th grade) will now be held at the Hampton recreation fields (aka The Pit) this Saturday.  The fields are open to us for this purpose and the weather forecast looks to be dry yet on the chilly side.  Please be sure to have your child dress appropriately.

When:  We will be hosting the KLL player evaluation on Saturday, March 10th from noon to 3 p.m.

- Players that are league age 8 & 9 as well as 11 & 12 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
- Players that are league age 10 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Note:  We will send specific emails to each of the league age groups letting them know which time slot they are to attend.

Since we will be evaluating nearly 45 players, we ask that you arrive and depart timely.

Where:  Hampton Pit Field # 2.

What to bring:  Fielding glove, baseball cap, water/sports drink, baseball bat (if your son/daughter already has one), and a batting helmet (again, only if your son/daughter already has one).  We will supply batting helmets and bats for those players who do not have them.

What to wear:  Baseball/sweat/athletic pants, t-shirt, sweatshirt/jacket, socks, baseball hat for on field drills, winter hat (for off field down time) & cleats.

What will be evaluated:  Hitting (Batting/Bunting), Fielding (grounders/fly balls), Throwing, Running, and Pitching (time and location dependent).

What can parents do:  Parents are more than welcome to stay. Parents/Guardians must escort their child(ren) to the check-in table and we will not allow a player to participate in the evaluation if a parent/guardian does not check-in with their child(ren).
