Welcome to the Kirkwood Glory Premier Website
The Glory Premier is a U-15 girls’ soccer team representing the Kirkwood Soccer Club from New Castle Delaware. We are affiliated with the Delaware Youth Soccer Association (DYSA).
The Glory soccer team is an advanced program committed to providing a competitive atmosphere in which soccer players may develop their technical and tactical capabilities in a setting that encourages good sportsmanship and the development of personal character. The emphasis is the development of each player to bring them to the highest of their abilities and develop a team that grows and moves forward together.
Fall 2007 we participated in the Premier Division of the Philadelphia Area Girls Soccer (PAGS)

Program Philosophy
What Are We About?
Team
We believe that each player is to be treated as if they are part of your family. Where we enjoy each others successes and support each other in times of failure. We always want to treat each other in a positive manner, never allowing negative comments to be heard about any other player on the Glory.
Player development
We will strive to develop each player so that they are successful at each more advanced level of play. We provide opportunities for skill development individually and as a team. Each player needs to practice with the team so they are comfortable with each other and know the other players areas of strength and limitation.

Glory go 3-0-1 in Costa Rica
The Kirkwood Glory visited Costa Rica from July 28-Aug 5. During the trip the Glory won 3 games and tied one. They also enjoyed the local culture, visited a local Day Care center to deliver gifts to the children, went white water rafting, enjoyed the hot springs heated by the Arenal Volcano, enjoyed a zip line tour of the jungle and visited Jaco Beach. Everyone had a great time. Pictures have been posted under the Costa Rica Album.

Glory Make 3rd appearance at Region 1 Playoffs

Glory Win Third State Cup Title
The Kirkwood Glory won their third straight State Cup title by defeating the Concord Charge 1-0. The Glory will once again represent Delaware at the Region 1 Playoffs to be held in Portland, Maine June 28-July 3. Good Luck Glory.

Glory Finalist at August Cup 06
The Kirkwood Glory Premier went 2-1 in pool play to reach the finals against the Bethesda Riptide. After a hard fought regulation and overtime the game remained 1-1 and went to Penalty Kicks where Bethesda prevailed. The Glory played well in the Premier backet of a very competative tournament, great job Glory.
