Kinnoull took all three points from this very difficult fixture after Penicuik had been very harshly dealt a straight red card to wing man Moonie on the stroke of half time. Kinnoull made them pay with a Robbie Holden strike from the edge of the box after Jon Kelly had nodded down Chris Antons cross. Earlier Neil Gardiner had bundled home a corner kick to cancel out an early Johnny Harvry header. In truth, this was the poorest Kinnoull performance for a few weeks and while earlier we did not get the win our play deserved we got enough breaks today to win all three when Penicuik fans will feel their team was hard done by. Kinnoull will need to continue to grind out results like this if we are to challenge at the top of the league at the end of the season as you need grit and determination as well as good football skills to win honours in this league.
