Kinnoull put on a magnificent performance to advance to the last sixteen of the Scottish Cup with a tremendous 4-0 win at windswept Lanark Utd. Two goals each from David Carr and Gary Fraser were enough to earn the victory, with undoubtedly David Carr's stunning 35 yard strike being the highlight of the day. All in all, every man in Kinnoull red was a hero and well done to each and every one. Congratulations to the Kinnoull management on earning a spot for Kinnoull in the last 16 draw for only the second time in Club history.
Our thanks also go to hosts Lanark United for their entertainment on the day, much appreciated.

KINNOULL travel to LOCHORE WELFARE this week for another tough league match. Lochore had an excellent penalty shoot-out win over Premier League Ballingry Rovers last week, so Kinnoull will need to be on top form after our enforced two week lay-off. Kick-off 1.45pm
There will be another two week break after Saturday for Kinnoull as we enter the festive period.

Scottish Cup 3rd Round -
KINNOULL 1 CROSSGATES PRIMROSE 0
Kinnoull edged a vital Scottish Cup tie and booked our place in the fourth round draw.
Undoubtedly the highlight of the game was Sean Fleming's cross whipped in and Chris Webster's super header that ended up high in the roof of the net for what proved to be the only goal of the game.
Many thanks to our friends from Crossgates

Many Thanks to everyone who turned up on the evening and all those who supported the event in other ways. A good evenings entertainment was had in the company of Speakers Jim Leishman & Bill Barclay.
Also thanks to St Johnstone's Tommy Campbell for his MC role on the night
It was Kinnoull's first attempt at such a prestigious event and while it was not perfect, there was enough good points to know that it could be a possibility to make it even better next time, if we ever have another!!
A decent sum was raised on the night too!!!

We managed to maintain our unbeaten run against Thornton Hibs but were made to sweat before eventually running out 4-2 winners. Our first half performance wasn’t great, which is something I will partly take the blame for as I don’t feel the balance was right in our midfield. We made a change at half time and to be fair the players responded well to the team talk with a much improved performance. Despite losing a goal to go 2-1 down early in the second half we kept plugging away and I felt deserved the goals which eventually won us the three points. The three substitutes that were used that day all made a huge impact on the game highlighting the importance the whole squad has to Kinnoull.
While the strikers have been grabbing the limelight lately with their goals it was good to see our midfielders starting to chip in. Keith Dewar got his first and if he keeps getting into the box with the regularity he has been lately he will certainly add to this tally. David Carr also scored two important goals for us last week, his first an aggressive header at the back post. If he can add this feature to his game on a regular basis he will become a massive threat to opposing defences. Gavin Tinley again came off the bench to grab a goal. Gavin consistently provides an impact when he comes on in games and has a useful knack of being in the right place at the right time. I believe our strikers Chris Webster, Richard Doig and Gary Fraser will get us goals consistently throughout the season so if the midfielders start chipping in on a regular basis we will have the basis of a very dangerous team.
The players are well aware the importance I hold for cup competitions. Rather than a distraction from the league I believe they can be used as a tool to improve form and in our case keep the winning momentum going. Getting to the later stages of Cup competitions provides exciting games to look forward to later in the season. These are games the players should be desperate to be involved in.
