Next Match Saturday 10th May, Kinnoull v Penicuik Athletic, East Premier League at Tulloch Park, 2.30pm kick off Another opportunity for a day out at Tulloch Park and what chance to finish the League campaign off with a winning double?
Kinnoull finally broke our home League victory duck for 2008 on Wednesday 7th May with a fine 2-0 win over Montrose Roselea. A first half header from Robbie Holden was added to by a late goal from Stevie McManus to round off a deserved win against a dispirited Roselea after they were consigned to the drop last weekend.
Kinnoull once again followed up a fantastic away result with a poor home performance on Saturday 3rd May and lost 3-1 to Central League side Lochgelly Albert. Kinnoull did not really start playing until after we were 3-0 down and by then it was too late and the Fifers had done enough to deservedly reach the semi final of the Kingdom Kegs Cup.
Kinnoull beat Central League Leaders Ballingry Rovers 2-0 on Wednesday 30th April with a first half penalty from Stevie McManus and a second half goal from Jamie McKenzie, his first goal of the season.
Kinnoull lost two goals in the final two minutes to go down 3-1 to Musselburgh Athletic on Saturday 26th April. In fairness, Musselburgh probably deserved all three points but it is galling to lose to such late goals - and our disastrous home record continues.
Kinnoull lost 1-0 to Hill of Beath on Saturday 19th April, Martyn Thomson hitting the winning goal in the second half. Kinnoull had several chances to take the lead before this and should really have taken something from the game, but failure to convert chance against Super League opposition means another Cup exit.
At the Player of the Year Presentation Night on Saturday 9th June 2007 in the Kinnoull Social Club the following awards were made:-
Player of the Year - Robbie Holden
Players Player of the Year - Sandy Ross
Top Goalscorer - Robbie Holden
Clubman of the Year - Gordon McIntosh
Goal of the Season - Jason Scrymgeour
Congratulations to all concerned.

Kinnoull are desperate for help and sponsorship of any kind and your support would be greatly appreciated. We hope you can find a level of sponsorship, no matter how large or small! Fans please note that we will be taking player sponsorships this coming season, so get in quick to sponsor your favourite player (husband, boyfriend, best mate or just because you think he is ok at football). You can separately sponsor his boots, shirt, shorts, socks - or the whole kit!
You get your name on the photo notice board as well as in each programme and on this website for all to see for a whole year!
Someone else might sponsor him first of course, and you would have to put up with sponsoring his shower partner instead!

The Club have many plans for this season including sponsorship of all kinds. If you know of anyone who might help please let me know. The Club has produced a sponsorship brochure which shows the kind of sponsorships possible. See link at the top of the page. As the club moves into the East Region Premier League the costs involved will require a lot of sponsorship to allow us to compete with some of the top clubs in the area. If you need a hard copy send me an e-mail at charlie.grieve46.wanadoo.co.uk or phone/fax me on the telephone numbers listed on the main page.
