The Kingwood Girls Softball Association provides the opportunity for girls ages 5-18 to play fastpitch softball at both the recreational and competitive levels. All girls from Kingwood and surrounding Southeast Texas communities are invited to participate. Our mission is to help our players develop their moral, emotional, mental, and physical growth, by participation in basic and advanced softball training programs.

Competitive Team Manager Applications Due Prior to July Board Meeting
Competitive team application letters can be sent to Marie Smith at dwsmith@kingwoodcable.com prior to the July Board Meeting (currently scheduled for July 12th 7:00pm at Skeeters--Kingwood). Applicants are welcome to address the Board personally at the beginning of the meeting before it considers the applications.

The identity of those submitting evaluations will be kept confidential. Please help us improve our coaching by submitting your evaluations and suggestions.

ASI-AFFORDABLE Security Integration Donates Alarm to KGSA for Northpark Fields Concession
ASI, owned by KGSA parent Jim Thomposon, generously dontated an alarm system to our new cocession stand. We feel SECURE in saying that we couldn't exist without the generosity of our KGSA family.

Please note that the Adult Leagues may end up with a league on Tuesday nights on Mens Field starting in Mid-June. The KGSA schedule may have to be altered at that point to accommodate.

LOST AND FOUND ARTICLES
ALL PERSONAL ITEMS SUCH AS BATS, GLOVES, AND VISORS SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY MARKED WITH A NAME AND PHONE NUMBER SO THEY MAY BE EASILY RETURNED. IF YOU FIND A LOST ARTICLE, PLEASE TURN IT IN TO YOUR COACH. IF THE ITEM IS MARKED WITH A NAME AND PHONE NUMBER, COACHES SHOULD ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY THE PERSON AND LET THEM KNOW IT HAS BEEN LEFT IN THE CONTAINER. ALL LOST & FOUND ARTICLES SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE CONTAINER BY THE PAVILION. THERE IS A TABLE IN THERE FOR SMALL ITEMS SUCH AS GLOVES, BALLS, VISORS, ETC. BATS SHOULD BE LEFT NEAR THIS CONTAINER. ALL COACHES AND BOARD MEMBERS HAVE ACCESS TO THE CONTAINERS.

Annie Castle, former Head Softball Coach at Sam Houston State University and Crosby High School offers group pitching lessons at the KGSA Complex.
Please call Annie at 281-852-9746 for information on pitching lessons. Each pitcher must furnish her own catcher.
