| Looking forward to having my 5-year-old daughter in an organized sports program, especially softball as I grew up playing fast- and slow-pitch softball...(and was better than most of the boys in baseball, I might add...hahahaha.) Any information or tips that can be sent to me would be greatly appreciated to get me started as I am knew to available sports and leagues in the area. Thanks. |

| omg i was just looking on google n there u where i nearly cryed i used to play in the years 1995-1997 (i went to deerwood school) i moved to tx from england n we had 2 move bk in 1997, i played in the wildcats with cristina winters if any body remebers me plez e-mail me coz i wont 2 talk 2 every1 so much i miss u guys(its cold n wet here in england) plez e-mail me luv laura byrne xxx |

| I NOTICED THIS WEB PAGE IN THE KINGWOOD PAPER TODAY (01/16/02) AND DECIDED TO LOOK IT UP. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! I WAS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL BOARD MEMBERS (EARLY 1980'S)AND ALSO COACHED FOR SEVERAL YEARS DURING THE EARLY AND MID 80'S! JERRY SMITH WAS THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD AND IT IS CERTAINLY A PLEASURE TO SEE THE PROGRESS YOU HAVE MADE IN THE LAST 20 YEARS! I LOOK FORWARD TO CHECKING THE WEB PAGE OUT AS THE SEASON PROGRESSES. MY DAUGHTER (ALLISON CAMPBELL) PLAYED AND WENT ON TO PLAY BOTH SOFTBALL AND BASKETBALL AT KINGWOOD HIGH SCHOOL, ATTENDED TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY AND IS NOW THE HEAD COACH OF THE NORTH SHORE MUSTANGS GIRL'S BASKETBALL TEAM. I CREDIT THE YEARS SHE WAS INVOLVED WITH THE KINGWOOD GIRLS SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION PROGRAM AS BEING FORMATIVE YEARS IN HER DECISION TO COACH IN HIGH SCHOOL. HER MOTHER WAS A HOME EC TEACHER @ HUMBLE HIGH. WE HAVE LIVED IN THE KINGWOOD AREA SINCE 10/74! GOOD LUCK IN YOUR COMING SEASON AND THANKS FOR SHARING THE PROGRESS THAT HAS BEEN MADE! My daughter is having a lot of fun with her team and finds great joy in playing softball again. We have wonderfull coaches and team parents which makes it all work!
