REGISTRATION INFORMATION--PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Please be prepared to show a birth certificate for age verification if the player did not participate in KGSA within the past year. Please help us by signing up as early as possible before tryouts so we can better utilize our capacity. The Early Registration Fee is $140 for those Registering prior to Tryouts. The Late Registration Fee is $165 for those signing up at Tryouts or later.
Late Registrations will be processed until 6pm on the night before the applicable Division Draft. Those signing up at Tryouts should be prepared to wait for an available Tryout time, which may be at a later date depending on capacity. Those registering prior to Tryouts have priority.
Only players with a completed registration will be drafted. Draft dates and locations will be posted on the website at a future date.
Registrations made after the Division Draft are not guaranteed and may be accepted only to even out the number of players on the teams. Since there is no Tryouts or Draft of teams in T-Ball, registrations for T-Ball will be accepted without a Late Fee until capacity is met or one week prior to Opening Weekend.
AGE & ELIGIBILITY: KGSA is open to girls, at least 5 years up to and through 18 years of age. There are no geographical boundaries for playing in KGSA. The Publicity Sub-Committee and the Ways and Means Sub-Committee are looking for volunteers. The Publicity group is in charge of raising awareness about our awesome KGSA program. They will help the Publicity Director, Heather Frazier, advertise the league to local schools and to get our league involved in the community.
The Ways and Means group is responsible for pursuing new forms of fund raising as well as utilizing our current programs to generate revenue for our park. KGSA is a totally non-profit organization and relies on funding from registration, concessions and community sponsorships. We have several projects planned for our ball park and we really need volunteers to help us move forward with these projects. Please contact the Ways and Means Director, Buddy Frazier, if you would like to volunteer.
