NARCh Announce European Championships
The waiting is over! Once again NARCh and OT Hockey have come together to host the largest and only NARCh event out side North America. Last years Euro qualifier saw the largest tournament ever held in the UK with 48 teams from 7 countries competing in in 6 divisions to qualify for the NARCh Finals held every year in North America.
As a result of the great success of the previous two Euro Qualifiers NARCh have decided to hold the first ever NARCh European Championships to be held between 23rd-29th October in Sheffield, UK.
Sheffield has been chosen once again as the rink has everything an event of this size requires, With the venue boasting a converted ice rink pad, hockey shop, night club and function rooms.
The city of Sheffield also has a great deal to offer with one of the UK’s largest shopping malls, numerous cinema’s, Bars and restaurants it’s hard to find any city with so much to offer any travelling hockey player.
The NARCh European Championship will see 80 teams from 8 divisions competing over 7 days to crown Europe's elite. In addition to this the event will see many other additions such as All Star games, Skills contests, NHL Junior All stars, professional photography from IDI Photo and many other fantastic attractions.
Divisions will include u12s, u14s, u16s, u18s, u21s, Senior and Women's.
