Parent Code of Conduct

Kids Zone Youth Sports was developed to enhance children's knowledge and skills of sports, while creating a fun, healthy and happy enviroment for all players. We want the best for our children and as adults we must work together to ensure the well being and positive attitude of all children in the league.

As a parent in the Kids Zone Youth Sports League, I agree to follow the Code of Conduct Below:

1) I will remember that children participate to have fun and that the game is for the children not the adults.

2) I will inform the coach of any physical disability that may affect the safety of my child or the safety of others.

3) I will learn the rules of the game and the policies of the league.

4) I will encourage and demonstrate good sportsmanship regardless of the score by acting in a positive manner towards all players, parents, coaches and officials.

5) I will show respect to all coaches, referees and officals.

6) I will not engage in any unsportsman like conduct, such as heckling, insulting, belittling, harassing or arguing with any coach, referee or official.

7) I will place my childs emotional and physical well being ahead of my own desire to win.

8) I will not use profane, vulgar or demeaning language at any practice or games.

9) I will volunteer to help my childs team.

10) I will not use or allow my child to use drugs, or alcohol at any practices or games.

11) I will teach my child that doing one's best is more important than winning, so my child will never feel defeated by the outcome of a game by his/her performance.

12) I will help to ensure alitter free enviroment by cleaning up my trash before leaving the field after practice or a game.

13) I will never ridicule or yell at my child or other participants for making a mistake, or losing a game.

14) I will encourage sportsmanship behavior to my child and have him/her shake hands with the other team, officials and other coaches at the end of every game.

15) I will praise my child for competing fairly and trying hard and make my child feel like a winner every time.
