Lyle Middleton New

Lyle Middleton served as Kickapoo's
first head boys basketball coach. Coach
Middleton was the freshman coach at
Glendale High School from 1963 to 1971.
At Kickapoo, Coach Middleton guided
the Chiefs to a 1973 MO Class M
District Championship.

JOHN ROTENBERRY (1975-1983)

John Rotenberry became Kickapoo's
second head boys basketball coach in
1975. Coach Rotenberry had been the
first junior varsity head coach in
Kickapoo history from 1971 until 1975.
In 1981, the Chiefs won 20 games for the
first time in school history and finished
third in the Ozark Conference. Over a
four-year period(1977-1981), Kickapoo
won 70 games and lost just 36.

Coach Green is a member of the Missouri
Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame!
Over 500 career victories and assistant
coach on Glendale High's 1976 & 1978
State Baseball Championship teams!
3-Time Missouri Basketball Coaches
Association Coach of the Year.

Coach Green scored 20 points for the
Lakers in their 70-61 sectional victory
over Cassville in Springfield.
'59-'60 - Class M Sectionals (21-10)
Coach Green scored 14 points in a 52-53
loss to Mount Vernon.
Scored over 1,700 points during his
career at Camdenton!
