Dick Rippee, currently an assistant coach at
Evangel University has been named the fourth
head coach in Kickapoo boys' basketball
history!

Coach Rippee played for the Chiefs
under two head coaches (Roy Green and John
Rotenberry) in the early & mid-80's. He served as a
coach in the Springfield R-12 district throughout
the 1990's, mostly at Jarrett Junior High. He
became head coach at Parkview High School
in 1998. The Vikings went 67-42 during his four years
as the head coach. Including a state-ranked,
22-6 team his first season. The Vikings were
Ozark conference co-champions in 2001.
He left Parkview in 2002, taking an
assistant coaching job at Evangel University.
