The Kentwood Hockey & Skating Association (KHSA) and the East Kentwood Falcons have been one of the elite hockey programs in the State of Michigan for over 25 years. Each fall 300+ boys and girls from ages 4 through high school, representing 200+ families, take to the ice. Registration for the Fall 2009 Season is being held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Kentwood Ice Arena.  We will be accepting registration for the following age levels.  Learn to Skate, Learn to Play, Cross Ice 1 & 2, Mite B, Squirt B and Bantam B.  We have plenty of room for the younger age levels LTS, LTP, CI1 &2 and Mite B.  Squirt and Bantam B have limited availability.  We currently have a waiting list at the PeeWee B age level.

A $200 deposit is required to hold your spot and this will be the final registration for the House B teams.  Teams are filling up fast so don't miss this opportunity.  If you are a new skater to the Kentwood organization we will need a copy of your child's birth certificate.  Forms will be available at the rink but you can download one in advance by clicking here: 2009-10 House Registration Form if you would like to fill out your information in advance.  Please call Kentwood Hockey President Bryant at 616-841-1822 or Kentwood Hockey Administrator Amy at 616-890-1216 with questions.

The Season is over, the Kentwood Ice Arena is sitting quietly with no ice.  Hopefully your kids are playing soccer, baseball, golf or lacrosse.  Parents, please enjoy this time away from hockey and get out and see some of your non-hockey friends, have a cookout and hangout.  Well, ok you can still invite your hockey friends over as well.

We are very pleased with our Travel Team Tryouts and General Registration numbers for the upcoming season.  Here are the team counts where we currently stand for the upcoming season.

House B: 1 - Mite Team, 2 - Squirt Teams, 2 - PeeWee Teams and 2 - Bantam Teams.  We will be accepting additional Mite B Players (2001-2002 birth year) and we have a waiting list for the PeeWee and Bantam levels.  If we can reach adequate levels, we will form additional teams at the PeeWee and Bantam B age levels.  If you are interested in signing up for one of our House B Teams forms are available at Kentwood Ice Arena or you can download one here: 2009-10 House Registration Form A $200 Deposit required to hold your spot for next season.

2009-10 Kentwood Falcons Travel Teams

Thanks to everyone who tried out for a Kentwood Travel Team for the 2009-10 Season.

If you have been selected and accepted a position a $300 deposit will be required to hold your spot.  A team representative will contact you about a time and date to get the forms filled out for the upcoming season.  There will be forms available at Kentwood Ice Arena beginning 4/21/09 late in the afternoon or you can download a copy of the form, fill it out and get it to your team representative with the appropriate deposit payment of $300.
