Final Spirit Wear order must be turned in by May 23rd.
Parents, The league will be placing one more spirit wear order for this season, if you would like to order something. Attached is the order form. You can mail it to the PO Box on the form, but all orders must be turned in by May 23rd. NO orders will be accepted after that date. If you have questions, please email Jeni Cripe at CRIPE.JENNIFER at sgcs.k12.in.us. Please DO NOT give the orders to your players coach.

League Breakout by age
Starting with the 2010 season, the leagues will be done by the grade groups that are playing together. They are:
A league – 7th and 8th grade
B league – 5th and 6th grade
C league – 3rd and 4th grade
D league – 1st and 2nd grade
Because of this change, all players will redraft EACH year.
1st base, 3rd base, and pitchers for A, B, and C league will be REQUIRED to wear face protectors when on the field.

KGSL requires each player to supply their own batting helmet
Starting with the 2012 season, the KGSL will NOT supply players with batting helmets. Each player must have their own batting helmet. The league will be selling their helmets for $5 each on a first come first served basis. Grades 3-8 must also have a face guard on their batting helmet.
1st base, 3rd base, and pitchers for A, B, and C league will be REQUIRED to wear face protectors when on the field. The league will supply these, but it is suggested that anyone that routinely plays ones of these positions invests in their own.

These are tentative and can change. Schedules will be out at the end of April.
Practices will start after April 10th.
NSA Rules for the league
The Noble County Fast pitch Softball League adopted NSA rules for the 2010 and future seasons. These rules will be handed out to coaches and other league officials in the coming weeks. The rule book can be found In our handouts. Please remember that some of the rules could be amended before the start of the season.
