KG Little League annual meeting and elections
Wow!! It is already time to elect new Board of Directors for your King George Little League.
King George Little League will hold its annual General Membership Meeting on October 1, 2009 7:00pm at the KGES Cafeteria. As per our constitution we report to our members that status of our leagues. Elections will also be held at this meeting. Pls look at our handout section for a copy of our constitution and Board of director’s positions. Now is the time to make a difference in your league. We have come a long way this past year. Our Girls softball and boys baseball both won the District XV championship. We just started our fall season. Hope to see you at the meeting.

the latest
Another Little League season has come and gone. Some of us will be going on to football/soccer but did you know KGLL also offers fall ball?
That’s right fall ball registration is currently happening. See our flyer attached for more information.
All Stars has also started. KGLL has All Stars in both Baseball and Softball. On behalf of the KGLL Board of Directors, Congratulations to those who were selected and good luck in your games.
Now, what could we have done better this year? Please let us know. We want to do better, so please provide us with your inputs.
Have a safe summer.

Opening Day information
Opening Day is coming.
Well, pretty soon it’s time to hear the phrase, “Let’s playball!”
Enclosed are a few rules (see handouts on pitch stats) on what changes occurred this year.
Also if you are considering buying bats for baseball, pls visit this link http://www.littleleague.org/media/newsarchive/2009/January_-_April/Bulletin__Labeling_on_Certain_Bat_Models.htm
This info is also in the handout section.
We have an exciting event planned for opening day. Naturally, this event will not be possible without the help of our volunteers. Many of who work behind the scenes to make this possible.
If you want to volunteer please don’t hesitate to email me or contact a BoD.
One of the changes we are having this year (besides various rules on pitching) is a concession stand. It is still in the planning phase. The BoD voted this year to have one at Barnesfield. Right now, it will probably be only on Saturdays around lunchtime on a trial basis. We have not asked the teams to volunteer for this yet. I am open for suggestions on how to run it. Pls feel free to provide me inputs.
But don’t worry; opening day there will be plenty of food and drinks!!
See you at opening day.
