King George Little League: Welcome

January 2012 is here!!!

KGLL Spring season is starting up. 

Registration starts Saturday, January 14, 21, and 28 at the

KG Middle School from

9 AM to 2PM. 

 If you are intersted in managing or coaching:  fill out both the Volunteer and supplemental form. 

If you will be involved in helping out the coach or directly involved with the players you are required to fill out a volunteer form.

2012 King George Little League Spring Season:

Welcome to your 2012 Spring Season:

Registration Dates:

Registration for the 2012 Season will be held from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the KG Middle School Cafeteria on three (3) successive Saturdays beginning on January 14, 2011; next registration dates will be January 21st and January 28^th.

On Line Registration is also available (see the link above). This will become available beginning January 2^nd, but parents or guardians will still need to visit the Registration Site to show the required registration documentation.

Remember, the earlier you register, the better your chances for choosing a preferred evaluation date and time.

Documentation:

Only players residing within the geographic boundaries of King George County can play in the King George Little League. Therefore, parents must show three proofs of residency. Please read our Proof of Residency paperwork  required   http://www.eteamz.com/KGLL/handouts/index.cfm?cat=189987&subsite=4999015#2066819 . Birth Certificate will also be required.

Age:

For Baseball: Age as of April 30, 2012, must be 4 to 18

For Softball: Age as of December 31, 2011 must be 9 to 18

For Challengers: Age as of April 30, 2012, must be 4 to 18

Note: Minors, Majors, Juniors, Seniors must participate in Player Evaluations. Time/Date will be assigned at in-person registration event.

Enclosed is a link (Registration Handout) to the various form to be filled out for registration. They can also be found in the handout section under 2011 Spring Registration.

Cost:

• Registration Fees for the 2011 Season are:

– $40 for 4 Year Olds

- $60 for TeeBall and Coach Pitch (Ages 5-8)

- $70 for Minors and Majors (Ages 9-12)

- $75 for Juniors and Seniors (Ages 13-16)

- $0 Registration Fee for Challengers (but will be charged a $25 Uniform Fee)

- Free for the fourth or more players from the same family

– In order to receive the reduced rates for additional players, you must register all players at the same time

• To keep registration costs low, all players are asked to participate in a fundraiser. You will be asked to select your choice of Fundraiser as part of our registration process.
