Important Dates:
January 2009 - Spring Little League baseball/softball registration begins
General Info: Registration begins in January every year and lasts until the first weekend in February. Practice begins the second week in March and opening day usually falls in the middle of April. The coach pitch and t-ball teams are scheduled for 12 games and play all of them at various school and church fields inside King George County. The minor aged players and older also play 12 games but play “home” games in King George as well as “away” games in several of the neighboring counties inside District 15.

Are you ready for some baseball and softball?
The King George Little League (KGLL) led by our President, Mr. Tony Zilic starts the 2009 registration on January 24, 31, and February 07. Pretty soon you should be seeing the flyers coming home (to see what they look like see the hand out section).
Also this year, our Vice President, Mr. Larry Gallamore, is bringing the services of Al & Al.
Who are Al & Al?
Al and Al are trainers. For the past 28 years, they have provided a training program. They will teach you the fundamentals and skills of baseball and softball. Now for the first time ever Al & Al are coming to the King George area. This event is sponsored by the KGLL and in cooperation with District 15
This clinic is open to all coaches and managers and will be held on Saturday, January 31st at King George Elementary School. The clinic will be held in a two-session format. One session is dedicated to tee ball and coach pitch while the other is dedicated to the minor and major levels. Please find information about the clinic as well as directions to King George Elementary School enclosed.
Any league may register for the clinic as a co-sponsor for a fee of $300 which allows them to send an unlimited number of coaches. Individual coaches may register at the clinic for a fee of $15. Acceptable forms of payment include cash or check payable to “KGLL/Clinic”.
