Kentuckiana Football Officials Association

The Kentuckiana Football Officials Association ("KFOA") is one of the premier high school football officiating associations in the nation. Its members currently officiate all Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman football games in the Metro Louisville area. Additionally the KFOA services numerous youth league football programs.

In addition to high school and youth leagues, current and former KFOA members can be found officiating in several college conferences, and in the NFL.

The KFOA holds regular membership meetings each Wednesday evening starting the last week of July through the first of October.   Training sessions are held with new members an hour before each regular meeting, plus there are two special orientation meetings for new members in mid-June. This year’s New Member Orientation meetings will be held at Papa John's Stadium in June on the TBA and TBA, 2013 starting at 7:00 PM

Each year the KFOA also holds an election night party in October, a season-ending Hall of Fame & Awards banquet.

Officiating football is a tremendously rewarding avocation. You get to participate in a great game, help kids, make great friends - the rewards are endless.

Today the need for new officials is great. There has never been a better time to begin officiating football and take advantage of the opportunities available. If you think you'd like to become an official, please select How to Get Started.

For more information about the KFOA and the many rewards of football officiating, please contact Mark Wiedmar - of the 2013 Recruiting Committee.
