The Kentuckiana Football Officials Association ("KFOA") is one of the premier high school football officiating association in the nation. Its members currently officiate all Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman football games in Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Henry, and Bullitt Counties in Kentucky. Additionally the KFOA services numerous youth league football programs.
In addition to high school and youth leagues, current and former KFOA members can be found officiating in several college conferences, the NFL, and Arena Football League.
The KFOA holds regular membership meetings each Wednesday evening starting the last week of July through the first of October. Training sessions are held with new members an hour before each regular meeting, plus there are two special meetings for new members in mid-June. This years New Member Orientation meetings will be held at Papa John's Stadium in June, 2008
Each year the KFOA also holds an election night party in October, a season-ending banquet, and Hall of Fame Dinner.
Officiating football is a tremendously rewarding avocation. You get to participate in a great game, help kids, make great friends - the rewards are endless.
