Key Peninsula Little League: Umpire Information

Umpiring baseball games is a great way to volunteer!

  • Key Peninsula Little League is looking for amateur baseball umpires for the upcoming 2011 season.
  • First-hand experience is not necessary because training is provided. All umpires are placed on a two-umpire team with an experienced umpire.
  • We’ll teach you how to work the bases. After you are ready and confident, you’ll have the option of working the plate and calling balls and strikes.
  • Umpiring is fun, very rewarding and a great way to build volunteer hours!
  • Each game you umpire qualifies for 2-1/2 volunteer hours that you can add to your senior project folder. You already know how important it is for colleges to see these volunteer hours on your application, so what are you waiting for?

Your game assignments can be found by looking at the schedules and choosing "Umpires".

The Games are organized by Division, Date, Field and Time. If there is a day and time that you are available, please contact:
