14 Chris Jergens

Position: OF/P School: Wright State University Profile: Chris is entering his rookie season with the Royals. Jergens graduated from Alter, where he was #67 in the top 100 list of Ohio State baseball players in 2002. He went on to play with Wright State providing innings in relief off the mound for the Raiders. After a brief hiatus, Jergens is excited to be back on the baseball field. Jergens will roam the outfield as he once did for the Raiders and look to close the door on opposing batters late in the game. At the plate Royals management hope that Chris can fill the void left in the middle off the order with veteran Ben Ailes retirement.
