48 Brenden Regan

Position: OF/P School: Xavier University Profile: Brenden is entering his 2nd season with the Royals. He is a current member of the Xavier club team participating in the NCBA DII where he is leading in several pitching categories. With the Boys in Blue, he roamed centerfield with gazelle like speed. He was able to track a lot of balls in the deep part of Rotary park that left a lot of batters in awe. At the plate his speed out of the box, and shorter distance to first, allowed him to knock out 26 hits and carrying a .404 average. Off the mound Brenden was a great addition to the team. After some control issues during the regular season Brenden pitched a complete game gem, tallying 12 strikeouts, in an elimination game during the playoffs to propel the squad into the championship. After a rigorous off season workout he's added a few more mph's to his fastball and his sidearm curveball continues to fall off the table.
